During the art therapy period with the women in the groups I facilitate, I find random images (or rather, they find me) and I start to collage with them on small cards. Each card is finished after the session is over. This helps me to process and integrate the wide range of emotions that are present during the therapy group. Looking at this set of cards now they seem to represent windows of possibilities.  As if I was holding windows of hope for those women until they could open those windows themselves.
